Free Plan
Best for: Trying out Chatref and small personal projects.
The Free plan gives you 100 coins per month — enough to test your chatbot and have a handful of conversations. It includes all core features: unlimited chatbots, knowledge base training, playground testing, and conversation history.
Basic Plan — $12/month
Best for: Small businesses and personal websites with moderate traffic.
With 500 coins per month, the Basic plan supports roughly 125-250 conversations monthly. You get all the features of the Free plan with a higher usage allowance.
Plus Plan — $39/month
Best for: Growing businesses that want full branding control and multiple chatbots.
The Plus plan is our most popular choice. With 3,000 coins per month (roughly 750-1,500 conversations), it’s great for businesses with steady website traffic. Plus unlocks premium features:
- Custom logo — Replace Chatref branding with your own

Pro Plan — $99/month

With 10,000 coins per month (roughly 2,500-5,000 conversations), the Pro plan is built for businesses that rely heavily on chatbot support. It includes all Plus features with the highest coin allocation.
Which Plan Is Right for You?
Ask yourself these questions:
- How much traffic does your website get? Higher traffic = more conversations = more coins needed
- How important is branding? If you want to remove Chatref branding and use your own logo, you need Plus or Pro
- Do you need multiple chatbots on different pages? Multi-agent routing requires Plus or Pro
- How long are typical conversations? Longer conversations use more coins per session
Start with the Free plan to test your chatbot, then upgrade when you’re ready. You can always change your plan as your needs grow.
How to Subscribe
- Go to Billing in your dashboard sidebar
- Click Upgrade or Change Plan
- Select your desired plan and billing frequency (monthly or annual)
- Enter your payment information
- Your new plan activates immediately with a fresh coin allocation
