The Settings tabs hold the details that name your bot and shape what visitors see first. Everything here saves automatically – there’s no Save button. This page covers the General and Messages tabs. Your bot’s model, personality, and system prompt live in the Playground, not here.

Where settings live

Settings is split into tabs: For everything except General and Messages, see the Widget Customization pages, starting with Appearance.

General

The General tab holds your bot’s identity and theme.
New bots start in light mode. Dark mode is off until you turn it on here.

Messages

The Messages tab controls the first things a visitor sees.
Make your suggested messages match what people actually ask. A coffee store might add “Where’s my order?” and “How do subscriptions work?” so visitors get going in one tap.
